Our congregation is all about service. We serve God by serving others in our church family as well as the surrounding community. The Center for Spiritual Discovery recognizes the need in this area and strives to be a part of the solution. Think globally and act locally is something we aspire to everyday.

Below are just some of the ways we offer to be in selfless service to others. If you would like to join us in sharing your talents in any of these programs please contact Rev. Mara at the Center office at 714-754-7399. She will be happy to assist you in finding just the right place for your special talents

• Visiting those who may be unable to get out due to disability or recovery from illness.
• Assisting in community service with our Repair and Maintenance team.
• Providing transportation to doctor's visits, deliver food to those who are in crisis due to illness or a death in the family.
• Cooking -- prepare a casserole or meal for those who've temporarily cannot cook for themselves.
• Visit the elderly in nursing homes.
• Plant trees, clean up the community and assistant in beautification projects.
• Provide Scholarships for retreats and continuing education.
• Assist in providing for families in need of food for distribution to the needy.
• Be a smiling face and a friend that shows someone cares
